About Mar del Plata

Mar del Plata is the main tourist center and seaside resort in Argentina. It is located on the shores of the Atlantic Ocean, just 404 km from the Ciudad Autonoma de Buenos Aires (the capital).

You can find beaches, wide bays, towering cliffs and forests along the 47 km of coast. Sierras, rolling fields, trees, lagoons, streams, farms and quarries can be seen in the beautiful rural areas.

The average temperature in winter is between 12ºC and 14ºC and in summer between 23ºC and 27ºC.
